We offer a better way to perform link building
We work hard to build quality content that websites and businesses are happy to publish. We write bespoke, personalised and purposeful articles with the objective of making the website we’re writing for so delighted that they’re not only willing to accept more, but will ask for more.
We’re on a first name basis with the companies, websites and bloggers we work with. If we need to promote an article, it’s as simple as emailing our contacts in the associated industry and informing them that we have another valuable resource or service to inform their readers about.
There’s no money exchanged, so we always strive to ensure that the content we provide not only provides value to their readers, but also fits in with their current content plan and marketing objectives.
In summary..
We’re professionals. We build quality relationships based on trust. We work hard to write quality, professional and bespoke content. We strive to provide a quality service, offering value. We focus on long term objectives.
Why don’t we pay for links?
There are two reasons why we don’t pay for links. 1). Most websites are over charging. It’s just a racket in a lot of cases – and 2). It’s completely unnecessary. There’s also the fact that even though they never seem to do anything about it, Google doesn’t like it. Nevertheless, it’s best not to take any chances.
If you want people to see your content, it’s genuinely better to do things the old fashioned way. You need links on pages that are actually ranking and will get clicked on. This is just common sense. A lot of people are paying for links based on arbitrary numbers that don’t necessarily mean anything. In short, they’re being bamboozled and ripped off.
So What’s the Solution?
Good old fashioned relationship building!
Our formula and best advice for building links is:
- Contact a business, website or blog related to the niche you want to promote.
- Politely introduce yourself and inform them that you’re willing to write content that their customer or audience might find useful. Most of these people will send you a spreadsheet full of pricing for links on certain websites. Usually high DR – low traffic. Many others will rudely tell you to get lost – and that’s OK! It’s mainly because of all the spam and scams they get daily; especially as website owners. It’s hard to blame them.
- It’s a good idea to have a follow up list to handle objections. A lot of people can be turned around and become quite receptive when they realise you’re running a legitimate service.
- Provide the content in a way that benefits their website and adds true value to their readers FIRST. Keep your contact happy and look after your relationship with them.
- Analyse their website pages and articles. Work in with their content plan. Write articles that genuinely add value to the website. Write as if you were working for the company – because in a lot of respects, you are!
- Do not use blatant SEO anchors when linking to the products or services you are promoting in the article.
Rinse and repeat – build dozens or even hundreds of contacts. Before you know it you will be a genuine authority in as many industries as you can handle writing articles for, and you’ll be wielding a sword of promotion so powerful that even Darth Vader himself would be impressed. The next time someone contacts you, offering to sell you links on a ‘high DR’ website, you can delete the email while laughing.
This is the best way to build links because no one will work with you if you do not provide fantastic, useful, purposeful and high quality content. It’s not like they’re getting money out of the arrangement. If you’re providing true value to your contacts, you’ll have something a lot better than money – and a lot more valuable.
Sound too hard? Too much work?
Yes, it is a lot of hard work. While we work with many websites and never exchange money with any of them, we put in a lot of effort. It takes time to learn the specifics of relationship building online – especially in terms of technical know-how.
